Dr. Audrey emphasizes the relationship you have with Jesus Christ. She is respectful and sensitive to individual preferences and does not attempt to persuade people to change denominations. She does, however, encourage personal growth in your relationship with Jesus.

Dr. Audrey does not accept health insurance plans as she does not provide DSM-V diagnostic codes, which is a secular counseling requirement.

No. However, if Christian counseling is to be effective in your life, it is maximized by your confession of faith and building a relationship with Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Christian counseling focuses on drawing on our faith in God as our ultimate healer through our relationship with Jesus. Secular counseling focuses more on the power a person has within him/herself for healing. It’s important to note that God does use man’s knowledge and science, and good Christian counseling incorporates what man has learned about himself, as long as that knowledge is in line with biblical views. For example, Dr. Audrey subscribes to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is not only backed by science but is also aligned with biblical views. Prayer, God’s Word, and truth are elements in effective pastoral counseling.
